COVID-19 Public Service Announcement Regarding Board Meeting Access and Public Comment

COVID-19 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING BOARD MEETING ACCESS AND PUBLIC COMMENT

The Civic San Diego Board meeting will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of California Executive Order 29-20 (1.5 MB PDF), which suspends certain requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act.

During the current State of Emergency and in the interest of public health and safety, most—and possibly all—of the Board Members will be participating in Civic San Diego Board meetings by teleconference. In accordance with the Executive Order, there will be no members of the public participating in person at the Civic San Diego Board Meetings. We are providing alternatives to in-person attendance for viewing and participating in the meetings.

In lieu of in-person attendance, members of the public may participate and provide comment using the webform, or via U.S. Mail of written materials, as follows:

Written Comment through Webform:

Comment on Agenda Items may be submitted using the webform indicating the agenda item number and project name for which you wish to submit your comment. Comments may be submitted until the close of the public comment period for each item. All comments will be read into the record during the agenda item. All webform comments are limited to 200 words.

Non-Agenda Public Comment may be submitted using the webform, and indicating the Non-Agenda Public Comment in the Project Name field. Comments may be submitted until the close of the public comment period for Non-Agenda Public Comment. All comments will be read into the record during the agenda item. All webform comments are limited to 200 words.

Written Materials. If you wish to submit written materials for submission into the record or have an attachment to your comment, you may email it to clerk@civicsd.com, or submit via mail to 401 B Street, Suite 400, San Diego, CA 92101. Materials submitted via e-mail need to be received before 5pm the day before the meeting, in order for it to be distributed to the Board Members. Materials submitted via mail will need to be received the day before the meeting, in order for it to be distributed to the Board Members.

The public may view the meeting online via Microsoft Teams. The meeting link is contained on Civic San Diego’s Meeting Calendar (Click Here), or on the Meeting Agenda. The Microsoft Teams meeting link will be published once the meeting agenda has been posted.
