Financial Information Overview

The Accounting and Finance department performs various accounting and financial functions pertaining to the Redevelopment Agency, Civic San Diego, and the Horton Plaza Theatre Foundation (HPTF), a non-profit company established by the City to oversee the Lyceum Theatre which is an Agency asset. The department is led by a Chief Financial Officer.

1% Lien on Specified Projects
Civic San Diego, on behalf of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Diego, is collecting a 1% lien for three projects in Downtown San Diego. They are Renaissance Condos located at 645 Front St., Kettner Row Homes located on the 1500 block of Kettner Blvd., and Smart Corner Condos located at 1080 Park Blvd. Generally, these liens are paid by the prospective buyer and should be disclosed by the seller. They are paid at close of escrow every time a unit is sold.
